I am humbled by the thoughtful words about me below.
My goal in life is to help. I have always been one who tries to be of service to others, using the gifts I was blessed with to try to support other people's needs. This has played out in a myriad of ways since I started my career, and I so grateful for those who have come into my life because of this wonderful opportunity.
"Sometimes I think about the people who changed my business for the better. Buddy Hill is one of those people. He moves leaders in all kinds of great directions. Here are four examples:
I recommend Buddy without hesitation to anyone who needs his skillsets. Not only will you be utilizing his top-notch talent, but you will also be privileged to be associated with an extraordinary human being."
- 1) Buddy insists on organized methods of design. Before hitting the design part, he starts with pencil sketches. In a technological world, it’s easy to jump right into a design. Your first idea could almost look like a finished package. The problem with that is you often miss the important messages. Start with pencil first and take the time to hone in on the idea. It’s worth the investment.
- 2) Artistic hierarchy is paramount to making a sale. Buddy focuses on where you want to the customer’s eye to land and where you then want it to go. For consumer packaged goods, I use that concept every single day. I retell Buddy’s message to both young and seasoned designers.
- 3) A truly skilled artist is offered jobs all the time, but only a wonderful person passes those offers to others when he can’t, or wont, accept them. I offered Buddy a job at my company a number of times, but Buddy said he was happy right where he was. Buddy then went the extra mile by reaching out to a person he knew and “matched” us together. I hired this person in a leap of faith because Buddy recommended her. That was 6 years ago. Saying that I would not know what to do without this person would be an understatement. Buddy told her who and what we stood for and, in her own leap of faith, she listened to him as well. Why? Because Buddy’s kindness, integrity, and selflessness makes him a reliable resource. Her career, and my company, have thrived because of Buddy.
- 4) Buddy looks out for the personal side as well as the business side. We are both singers. When he noticed that I was neglecting my “other” artform because I was so busy with work, he advised me that I must keep singing. “Not doing the thing you love the most,” he said, “is like not having your right arm. Just find the time.” He not only protected my business, he also protected me.

"Buddy has played an integral part in developing my brand. I contacted him with the need for a logo, website, and business cards. I had few ideas. After just one conversation, he came up with a series of logos for me to select from and customize. From there he built my website in no time and designed beautiful business cards to match. Surely without his help, my brand would not be what it is today. He continues to assist me in keeping my website current and is always available to help. "The Pottstown Rumble, the world's largest grass doubles volleyball tournament, has been blessed to partner with Buddy & Dahjester Design since 2012. Year in, year out Buddy continues to produce innovative and popular designs that drive our annual sales. He is an absolute pleasure to work with and his passion for his craft is apparent with the caliber of work we receive. We throw a wide range of apparel/design requests at him and he never fails. We find Buddy to be at his best when we give him a blank canvas to work with and let his creative mind direct the project (it also takes the stress off of us!). His turn around time, responsiveness, and willingness to engage with our vendors/suppliers takes a huge burden off of our shoulders. When you choose Buddy, you choose a consultative partner, not just a designer. "
